An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Executive, Distribution Broker in our Distribution, Strategy & Transformation Department.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and ensure effective relationship management with new and existing brokers to increase sales to meet business targets and to ensure long term business partnership.
- To actively identify opportunities to introduce Company products and develop new sales enquiries thereby increasing the revenue opportunity within each producer business portfolio.
- Advise producers on policies and operating procedures and processes to ensure functional effectiveness of business.
- Monitor and Analyze producers’ performance to determine focus of sales efforts and ensuring profitable growth.
- Collaboration with Underwriting, Claims, Finance and IT to facilitate prompt and efficient servicing support to producers.
- Compliance to corporate governance and industry regulations and procedures.
- Gather market intelligence to ensure company’s competitiveness and capitalize on market opportunities to identify trends and develop new ways to grow the business profitably.
- Conduct Product training for Brokers
- Underwrite selected P&C classes
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma in Business or equivalent
- Minimum Certificate in General Insurance (CGI) and Health Insurance qualification required
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong relationship building, customer focus and management skill
- Strong negotiation and analytical skill
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to influence others
- Good written and oral communication skill
- Good selling and presentation skills
- Self motivated, possess initiative and a good team player
