Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the full spectrum of payroll activities and manage external payroll service providers in the country/region. The ideal candidate should have the ability to work in a diversified, fast-paced and collaborative environment with excellent interpersonal skills. Solid C&B knowledge to overview and execute the C&B practice and policy. This position requires to ensure the day-to-day payroll functions are operating efficiently and effectively in order to adhere to the labour law and company service standard.
Main Responsibilities: - Ensure accurate, timely and efficient delivery of payroll services for the Thailand operation. Perform and verify end to end payroll operations and transactions; and submit statutory requirements for payroll processing services with compliance with local legislation and corporate policy.
- Ensure adequate controls are in place around all matters pertaining to payroll (i.e Maintain files record and up-to-date payroll-related documentation when there are new regulations; in charge of internal audit relating to payroll procedures and performing corrective actions as required; prepare documentation and reconciliations for external audit; maintain strict confidentiality of all associate payroll records)
- Ensure timely enrolment/ configurations of employee leave and benefits.
- Able to handle the year-end process, i.e. tax reporting, independently.
- Attend to payroll enquiries from employees, internal & external stakeholders.
- Able to prepare payroll related report as requested by senior management for decision making.
- Manage the vendor to ensure their support and services in line with our SLA and report immediate if any substandard services/ issues have been identified.
- Other responsibilities included but not limited to participate in system enhancements, HR projects or ad hoc analysis as needed.
- Provide core consulting, operations and delivery of job evaluation, salary modelling, offer materials, severance pay, market analysis related to compensation and benefits
- Execute on annual merit and bonus cycle, including annual budget planning and employee costs monitoring.
- Lead and administer on benefit review to ensure market competitive and comply to country statutory pay requirement.
- Contribute to design and delivery of total reward plans, recognition and retention programs, governance and pay communication.
Skills, Experience & Attributes: - Degree in Human Resource Management and any Business-related degree with HR qualifications
- At least 8 years of working experience in a fast-paced environment focusing on compensation & benefits, payroll operations and HRIS
- Good computer and analytic skills is advantage (e.g. Excel, Powerpoint, PowerBi)
- Knowledge of country employment regulations that related to Compensation and Payroll
- Candidates who have experience of managing outsourced payroll processing service vendors are preferred.
- Must be meticulous, organized and process driven with a great attention to details
- Ability to prioritize priorities with tight datelines and a thorough service ethic
- Demonstrate ability to work independently and collaborate with others
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism.
