The successful candidate will join our Technology Department, focusing on process optimization and operational excellence. This role involves overseeing DevOps and automation initiatives and providing support for DevOps and RPA in Hong Kong and Singapore. We are looking for an Automation and DevOps Manager to lead a team of DevOps and RPA engineers in an agile setting. The successful candidate will join our Technology Department, focusing on process optimization and operational excellence. This role involves overseeing DevOps and automation initiatives and providing support for DevOps and RPA in Hong Kong and Singapore. Job Responsibilities:
- Lead a group of DevOps and RPA engineers
- Design, setup and maintain CI/CD pipelines to maximize SDLC efficiency
- Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning
- Improve automation of the deploy process and CI/CD pipeline using DevOps best practices
- Understand and meet the scale, capacity, security, performance attributes, and requirements of the service and technology stack
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost-effectiveness
- Develop and enforce policies for monitoring, alerting, and incident response, aligning industry best practices
- Liaising closely with both engineering and operational teams
- Reporting and metrics management (utilization, error/exception rate, licensing & costing)
- Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with the engineering team to streamline code deployment
- Responsible for delivering process automation solution and maintaining RPA environments
- Mentor new and junior team members
- Identify and recommend appropriate continuous improvement opportunities
- Stay up to date on the latest process and IT advancements
- Other duties as assigned
- A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 10 years of overall working experience with technology or software development
- Minimum 5 years working experience on DevOps or SRE
- Hands-on experience in managing development team
- Familiar with CI/CD and defining build/test/deploy pipelines in code
- Experience in Continuous Integration and Deployment automation tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Cloud Formation Template (CFT) and GitHub
- Experience in cloud (AWS) and infrastructure as code
- Hands-on experience in GitHub Actions, DataDog, BigPanda, UiPath, BluePrism and Java is preferred
- Ability to work independently
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Excellent in English. Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience working in a high paced, global environment with a multi-language, multi-geography, multi-cultural context
