Job Summary:
  • The Business Excellence Senior Manager will be a key member of the Business Excellence Team in charged with the oversight, planning, and delivery execution of cross-functional projects under the One APAC Strategy and Operating Model, in line with Operational excellence, transformation and process improvement. 
  • This role will be assigned to lead and manage key initiatives, projects and/or cross-functional workstreams within a program of varying degrees of complexity.
  • This role will proactively develop, document, coordinate, manage and provide oversight and regular updates on any required business cases, As-Is / To-Be analysis, process re-engineering, change impact analysis, change management, communications activities and plans; steer and monitor key project decisions, manage dependencies, identify and mitigate risks, issues and resources and tracking of related OKR/KPI to ensure business objectives are achieved
  • This role will work across business functions and/or geographies to help drive a continuous improvement mindset, identify the best approaches for projects, design and propose solutions and recommendations to business operations, design delivery plans to facilitate leadership to review and make informed decisions 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Lead and oversee cross-functional projects from initiation to completion, ensure on time project delivery within agreed scope
  • Business Data Analytics: inspect, transform and model business data with proper visualization (e.g. Power BI) to support business monitoring and decision making
  • Business Case Development: Coordinate the development and approval of business cases. Work directly with Sponsors to identify, document, and align on initiative or project objectives (OKR/KPI), scope, timing, and resources. Plan activities and tasks that will deliver the desired results and oversee day-to-day work and progress monitoring. 
  • Design and Planning: Create and lead the detailed design, delivery planning, execution, direction, and oversight phases for a subset of our One APAC program workstreams, initiatives, or projects, as identified and prioritized by the APAC Leadership. 
  • Framework Adaptation: Identify, adapt, develop, or comply with varying PMO or project delivery framework approaches as required to ensure the successful execution of initiatives. 
  • Process Re-engineering: Analyze as-is processes, workflows and identify opportunities (both system and non-system related) for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce bottlenecks
  • Stakeholder Collaboration and Alignment: Act as primary point of contact for stakeholders and Senior Leaders, functional owners, and external partner/vendor to align project goals and objectives
  • Change Management: Develop and execute change management strategy, act as a change agent to influence and support the organization and operating model change, challenge status quo to achieve operational excellence
Job Qualifications:
  • Preferred from Insurance industry with overall 10+ years of management or related experience
  • Experienced in driving changes (challenging of status quo), with strong stakeholders’ management and communication skillsets
  • Detail oriented, well-organized and able to work independently
  • Data analytics skillset is an advantage
  • Good spoken & written English and Chinese (Cantonese)
